Restore & Restain

This project was roughly 1500sqft that the client wanted to sand and refinish to a darker color. The before picture shows the light to medium brown pre-finished hardwood. Sanding pre-finished hardwood floors is challenging as the finish on the hardwood is baked on several times and contains aluminum oxide in the finish, requiring a a special abrasive to remove. The client wanted the entire first floor refinished, so with this factored in, the timeframe was longer than usual.
